See How They Wrap

If you're anything like me, you wait until the last minute to wrap gifts.

And by last minute I mean today or possibly even tonight post-eggnog.

In honor of the last minute wrap, I asked six of my favorite Southern shop owners (who have been wrapping gifts for customers since the holiday season started weeks ago) for a little inspiration.

I love what they came up with this year, I love that brick and mortar shops are still alive and well in Dixie and that shopkeepers are still wrapping gifts by hand, and I love that the examples pictured below are all very different.

It's a testament to the fact that the South is home to diverse points of view when it comes to style.

Happy Holidays!

—From the folks at Imogene + Willie in Nashville (note the fresh rosemary spring and selvage denim ribbon):

—From the folks at Flair in Tennessee (note the feminine tulle and greek key ribbon combo):

—From the folks at Pieces in Atlanta (note the gift-within-a-gift canvas bag idea):

—From the folks at Stag in Austin (note the insanely wonderful custom tissue paper they commissioned in indigo blue):

—From the folks at Eloise in Charlottesville (note the tone-on-tone color story):

—And from the folks at Eclectic here in Charleston (note the organic grapevine ornament tied into the bow):
